Startups get Zendesk free for up to 2 years

• Must be a brand new Zendesk subscriber (previous or active paid customers may not participate)
• Must have fewer than 250 employees
• If employee size 50-249, must be referred by a partner
• No more than series B in venture funding
• Company must be under 10 years old
• Zendesk may revoke the trial if your company does not meet these requirements.

Our basic eligibility criteria (listed above) govern general admission into the startup program. Once accepted, the baseline program length for all startups is 6 months. 

Extended offers of 1 or 2 years are tied to specific institutional funding partnerships, such as our VC and accelerator partners. These extended terms vary depending on the depth of our relationship with your investor or accelerator network, as well as factors like team size and funding stage.

If you are not currently affiliated with an established partner in our ecosystem, your program term will be the standard 6 months. If your startup is affiliated with a VC or accelerator, we recommend applying through their specific community referral link that you can get directly from them.

Yes. To get started, startups will input their credit card info. However, you can choose whether or not to continue with a paid plan at the end of the trial by canceling before your program end date.

This trial is for qualifying startups and extends your trial from 14 days up to 2 years for qualified startups. It also provides access to additional resources like a digital hub and events with partners like VCs and accelerators.

As part of the startups program, you’ll get access to our core product for free, along with a curated library of many resources designed to help early-stage companies grow—think best practice guides, webinars, and self-serve onboarding materials. You'll also be invited to join our startup community, where you can connect with other founders, share insights, and learn from each other’s experiences.
