Step-by-Step Guide to Installing commercetools by neteleven
Step 1: Get Your Commercetools API Credentials
Go to the Commercetools Merchant Center:
- Open Merchant Center and log in if required.
Find your credentials:
Under Settings > Developer settings, create an API client if you don't have one yet.
Copy your credentials:
- Copy the
client_Idandsecretfor later use.
Step 2: Collect Your Commercetools Project Information
Project Key:
- In Merchant Center, go to Settings > Project settings.
- Locate and copy your Project key (this will be used as
projectKey).
API / Auth URLs (Region / Cloud Selection):
Determine which Commercetools region your project is running in (e.g. Europe, US, Australia).
Based on your region, note the matching Auth URL and API URL:

Step 3: Install commercetools by neteleven
Install the app:
Start the installation from the Zendesk Marketplace and follow the on-screen instructions.
Enter your configuration values when prompted:
- clientId: Paste your Commercetools
client_Id. - clientSecret: Paste your Commercetools
secret. - authUrl: Paste the Auth URL that matches your Commercetools region (see Step 2).
- apiUrl: Paste the API URL that matches your Commercetools region (see Step 2).
- projectKey: Paste your Commercetools Project key.
Step 4: Finish and Test the Integration
Complete the installation wizard.
Open a ticket that contains a customer email address which exists in your Commercetools orders.
The sidebar app should display the customer's latest orders.
- If you see an authentication error, verify
clientId,clientSecret,authUrl,apiUrl, andprojectKeyand try again.
