Macro Hero is the missing macro management tool for Zendesk admins and CX teams. If you have hundreds (or thousands) of macros, you know how painful it is to keep them organized, up to date, and consistent. Macro Hero brings powerful bulk operations, inline editing, and usage analytics — all in a clean, intuitive interface that lives right in your Zendesk navigation bar.

Data and Privacy

Macro Hero is built with security as the highest priority. We want to be transparent about exactly what data we access and store.

What we access: Macro Hero reads and writes your Zendesk macros via the official Zendesk API, authorized by OAuth on your behalf. We access only the macros and the basic user identity needed to verify which Zendesk account is connecting — nothing else.

What we store on our servers: Only the minimum required for subscription management — your Zendesk subdomain, plan status (free or pro), and aggregate usage counts (such as searches today and trial uses remaining). This data is hosted on Cloudflare D1 and isolated per Zendesk instance.

What we DO NOT store: We never store, log, or transmit your macro content, macro titles, action data, ticket data, customer information, agent details, or any other Zendesk business data. Your data stays on Zendesk.
